I picked up an old book today, “Zhaungzi Speaks: The Music of Nature” by Tsai Chih Chung (translated by Brian Bruya). For those who don’t know, Tsai Chih Chung is a very famous cartoonist from Taiwan. So, it is appropriate that he created a book about the Chinese philospher Zhaungzi in cartoon form. What stood out today were the lines, “Don’t look at today in terms of the past and the future. / Don’t see things in terms of worth and worthlessness. / Don’t draw a boundary around the boundless.”
